Winds this evening are out of the southwest, with strong gusts expected to persist overnight, especially at the higher elevations. Winds on the lee side of the slopes will get slightly more complicated. Overnight, drainage winds tend to flow downhill. Near the top of the mountains, expect strong flow out of the southwest, INCREASING late tonight into early tomorrow. Further down the mountains into the lower elevations of Lake County, winds are most likely to follow the valley terrain down to the east, before flowing south at the bottom and down towards Chaffee County. Winds down low will be slightly weaker, but will also be a bit more erratic due to the complex terrain. Overnight lows will be in the low-40s, with RH recovery to around 40- 45 percent. For Monday, highs will be in the 60s with mostly clear skies. RH will dip to around 10-15 percent in the afternoon. Winds will remain gusty across the entire area, mainly out of the west-southwest. Strongest gusts will be isolated 45-50 mph during the morning, and then 35-40 mph or so in the afternoon. At this time, no precipitation is expected. .REST OF TONIGHT...
