250 FNUS74 KLIX 282327 FWSLIX Spot Forecast for G-06...USFWS National Weather Service New Orleans LA 527 PM CST Sat Feb 28 2026 If conditions become unrepresentative, contact the National Weather Service. We can be reached at (985) 649-0357 if you have questions or concerns with this forecast. .DISCUSSION... Conditions are prime for another round of fog development tonight at the burn site. Light winds, clear skies, and high relative humidity will allow patchy fog to form, especially in open fields and areas along bodies of water like bayous and rivers, as early as late this evening between 9 and 10 pm. This fog will fluctuate between being moderate and dense through the overnight hours and will clear between 8 and 9 am tomorrow morning. Tomorrow will see winds shift from the northeast in the morning to the south by the afternoon and minimum RH values should be between 45 and 50 percent at the burn site. Tomorrow night will have similar conditions to tonight, so some patchy fog formation will be possible once again. 1. There is high (100 percent) chance of patchy moderate to dense fog development tonight. Fog will form as early 9 pm and could linger through 9 am before clearing. 2. There is moderate (40 percent) chance of patchy light to moderate fog development tomorrow night. Fog duration is hard to pin down and I am not confident enough to put that in a forecast at this time. .TONIGHT...
