For Monday, breezy southwesterly winds continue, although less than what we have seen over the area Sunday. Thinking gusts reach into the teens instead of 20 to 30 mph. Model guidance continues to overplay rain and cloud cover, with high resolution models suggesting 90 to 100 percent cloud coverage and light rain showers. Thinking this southwest flow continues to dry as it moves over the AK range bringing partly cloudy skies. This will allow min RH to drop back down into the 40 percent range. If I am wrong and we hold on to overcast skies, min RH will remain above 50 percent. Touching on wetting rain showers, better chances for rain the further south you go toward Healy and the AK Range. Any rain will be light, less than 0.10 inches in 24 hours. Wednesday the area will continue to dry with temperatures climbing into the upper 60s/low 70s and min RH of 30 to 40 percent. .MONDAY...
