Key Messages... - We will see isolated to scattered rain showers in the Western Interior on Monday as a system moves inland. Chances lessen on Tuesday, and become near-zero on Wednesday. Thunderstorms are not expected. These showers will be slow moving and could produce wetting rains. - Cooler temperatures will continue through the week, with daytime highs in the 60s on Monday and Tuesday, with more locations getting closer to 70 on Wednesday and Thursday. Daytime RHs will drop somewhat Wednesday but remain high with the region staying around 40%. - Southwesterly winds will continue today with gusts in the afternoon of 15 to 20 mph. If an area can get some clearing skies today we could see some of these winds mixed down into the valley.
