Winds will be variable across the area due to a stalled front, with south to southwest winds south of the boundary (Ozarks, SW IL), and easterly winds north of it (NE MO, west-central IL). Temperatures will remain warm today in spite of increasing clouds, and we may see a few isolated pockets of very light rain or sprinkles. Wetting rain is not expected. A cold front will push through the area overnight switching winds to northerly and eventually northeasterly. Cooler temperatures are expected tomorrow, and a round of widespread wetting rain and light snow is expected Sunday night through Monday morning.
