Upper low over NC Montana will drop southeast today pulling better moisture into western and central areas this morning into early afternoon. Wetting rain chances will range from 80 percent for the western mountains and foothills to near zero for areas along the MT/WY border from Sheridan county eastward. Temperatures will be similar to Sunday, with 50s/60s west increasing to mid 70s along the eastern state line. Accumulating snow is expected through this morning for elevations above 8000 feet over the western mountains, little to no snow is expected for the Pryor and Bighorn mountains. Westerly winds will increase again by late morning and remain gusty (30-50mph) through the early evening hours. strongest wind gusts are expected from Billings westward into the foothills.
