Western CONUS ridge will dominate the weather in the period, 

supporting mild and dry weather most of the week. The region will 

remain on the NE periphery of the ridge, with northern stream 

impulses supporting weak cool fronts at times, specifically Wed 

and and again later Thursday, with seasonally mild Pac air in 

between. WAA ongoing today as the ridge pushes east, supporting 

much warmer conds than yesterday, esp the western half. Even 

warmer tomorrow, with 40s and 50s common, and a few 50s downwind 

of the BH. Baroclinic zone will fluctuate over the region this 

week with several weak impulses traversing the north side of the 

ridge. Most of the area will remain on the warm side of the ridge

with seasonally mild conds and breezy winds at times per Pac 

flow. It is quite possible that one of these impulse comes in a 

little stronger (namely Wednesday), which could bring much cooler 

weather to the northeast half than what is currently advertised. 

Otherwise, dry weather can be expected.
