(Tonight through Tuesday Night) Issued at 1035 PM CDT Sun Jun 28 2026 High pressure has set up both at the surface and aloft, and widespread subsidence will impact Middle Tennessee throughout the upcoming week in the form of excessively high heat and humidity levels. An Extreme Heat Warning is in effect for Middle Tennessee west of the Cumberland Plateau through Thursday, as heat index values will top out at 105 to 110 degrees across a wide swath of the mid state every day. && .LONG TERM...
