(00Z TAFS) Issued at 600 PM CST Sat Feb 28 2026 High pressure centered over the area will provide favorable radiational cooling conditions later tonight into early Sunday morning. This will likely support the reduction of dewpoint depressions and increasing fog potential. The most likely timing for fog development will be between after midnight through sunrise. The greatest threat for VLIFR visibilities and dense fog appears to be across coastal Alabama which includes KMOB and KBFM. There will also be dense fog potential at KPNS and KJKA, but the uncertainty at these sites remains higher at this time. Any fog that develops will gradually mix out Sunday morning with a return to VFR conditions for the remainder of the day Sunday. /JLH && .MARINE... Light to moderate easterly flow Monday becomes moderate to strong southeasterly flow late Monday night into Tuesday. Light to occasionally moderate southeasterly flow continues the rest of the week. /13 && .PRELIMINARY POINT TEMPS/POPS...
