...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1045 AM CDT
FOR WEST CENTRAL COOK AND EAST CENTRAL LAKE COUNTIES...

At 1009 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles north of
Clear Lake, or 30 miles southwest of Gunflint Lake, moving northeast
at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
  southeastern Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.

...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR WEST CENTRAL COOK AND EAST
CENTRAL LAKE COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.  However, heavy rain may 
cause minor flooding from this and other storms in the coming hours 
across the Minnesota Arrowhead.
